Arlene Phillips has embarked on an investigation into why she was axed from Strictly Come Dancing.
The 76-year-old was dumped from the hit BBC1 show in 2009 after starring as a judge for six series.
The choreographer is still trying to get answers as to why she was sacked - she was 66 when she was replaced by former contestant Alesha Dixon, then 30, amid accusations of ageism at the Beeb - by demanding information by using the Freedom of Information act.
