Antonio Conte looks to have send a pointed message to Pep Guardiola after Tottenham's win at Manchester City this weekend.
Spurs shocked City and the rest of the Premier League with their late 3-2 win at the Etihad.
They took the lead early on through Dejan Kulusevski, before Ilkay Gundogan equalised before the break. Harry Kane scored to put Tottenham back in front and it looked like Riyad Mahrez's 90th minute penalty would secure a point for City.
However, Kulusevski sent in a tempting cross for Kane moments later to earn Spurs a deserved win and blow the Premier League title race wide open again.
After the game, Guardiola was gracious in defeat as he praised Spurs' counter-attacking tactics that his City side couldn't cope with. However, it's that claim — that Spurs are a counter-attacking side — that Conte doesn't appear to have taken well as he took to Instagram with a simple message.
Posting a video of all three Spurs goals, Conte captioned his message: "Counterattacks?!? Maybe not…" followed by three crying-laughing emojis.
The video showed Tottenham's first and second goals beginning from goal kicks played short inside their own area, drawing City in before sending well-placed long-balls forward to onrushing attackers who took advantage of the space. The third goal also began with passing inside Spurs' own half, with another good direct ball forward putting City on the back foot.
Guardiola had said after the game: "After going behind, they defended so deep and so compact – it was incredible. They don't lose the ball with Harry Kane and can run as well with Son and Kulusevski.
"I think we played well. We created a lot of chances. I can't say anything wrong about the team because we were there all the time.
