Ant and Dec share pictures of their Covid tests as they joke about falling ill

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were not able to be at the ceremony this year, however, after they both contracted Covid just days before hand.  The pair’s award was accepted by Stephen Mulhern on their behalf – who joked that he would be keeping it – and they also bagged another for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.  They tweeted: ‘We wanted to say a massive thank you once again to everyone who voted for us & for @imacelebrity at the #NTAs! ‘Our fellow nominees are all incredible, we are so honoured to have received these awards.

The minute-long clip begins with Ant, 46, and Dec, 47, flying in a helicopter through the bright blue sky, before Ant chucks a suitcase from the chopper and a seemingly nervous Dec says: “Where’s the luggage going?” Ant then replies: “It’s meeting us there!” “Where?!” Dec exclaims.

Get Me Out Of Here! returns to our screens, excitement among fans is building amid speculation about which famous faces will be taking on the challenge of a lifetime in the Aussie jungle. Loki's owner David Espinal believes the pooch accidentally ate the lethal substance somewhere in the bushes.

It comes after Ant & Dec broke a World Record in 2019 for winning the most Best Presenter gongs ever at the NTAs. Accepting the award for them was their close friend and co-host Stephen Mulhern.

The pair, who are gearing up to host another series of I’m A Celebrity, reportedly have a ‘sudden’ illness, which has forced them to scrap an appearance on a Britain’s Got Talent special. They will be replaced on BGT by former Britain’s Got More Talent host Stephen Mulhern, an ITV spokesperson said.
