Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway ITV return date is announced

Ant and Dec took to Twitter to apologise to fans following the introduction of an energetic new game on their ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have joined a host of other celebrities in sending their love to Ukraine. Drag Race UK winners The Vivienne, Lawrence Chaney and Krystal Versace also appeared in the final performance, which was introduced by American drag queen RuPaul.

Saturday Night Takeaway stars Ant and Dec have undergone their most dramatic transformation yet for the popular Saturday night show. The popular duo were unrecognisable as they were transformed into their drag queen personas; the stunning Lady Antoinette and Miss Donna Lee.The transformation was made possible by Ru Paul's Drag Race star Raven and Glow Up winner Ellis Atlantis with hair by Curtis William. Raven was responsible for turning Ant, 46 into Lady Antoinette and shared a sped-up video of the transformation, as the TV presenter could be seen with a hair net on as he has intricate makeup applied to create the final, breathtaking look.

This Morning underwent an unexpected shake-up during Friday's instalment of the ITV daytime show (February 18) as presenters Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond left the regular studio. Instead, the Friday duo went to the Saturday Night Takeaway stage in another area of the ITV lot where they met up with NTA legends and presenting duo Ant and Dec for a chat.
