Anne Heche once said she tried to contact her ex girlfriend Ellen Degeneres "every day" of her life to make peace after their shock split in 2000 - but nothing could "satisfy her soul".
The actress was discussing her three-year relationship with the American talk show host in a 2021 interview, which would be her last public chat about her former partner.
