Princess Anne gave her brother, King Charles' wife Camilla the "cold shoulder" over the prospect of her one day becoming Queen Consort, it has been claimed. Camilla, 75, is now the Queen Consort following the death of her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II on 8 September and Camilla's husband Charles' accession to the throne. Princess Anne has thanked members of the armed forces who were involved in her mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral during a visit to Portsmouth Naval Base.The Princess Royal, who also holds the title of Commodore-in-Chief Portsmouth, met with Royal Navy personnel in Portsmouth who took part in the funeral procession earlier this week. Following her appearance in Portsmouth, the Royal will travel to Aldershot, where in her role as Colonel-in-Chief of both the Royal Logistic Corps and Royal Corps of Signals, she will thank personnel from across the Corps.

Michaela Zee editor Anne-Marie Ross, a veteran exec for such companies as Lionsgate and Pantelion over a career spanning more than two decades, died Sept. 9 after a two-year battle with advanced cancer. She was 49. Ross began her career in international film distribution at Lionsgate in 2001, where she was managed by Nick Meyer, Entertainment One’s current president of film. “Anne-Marie embodied poise, class, smarts and kindness. She always had a glow of positivity,” Meyer said in a statement. “She was a star who could handle any curveball thrown at her during those early days at Lionsgate when I had the privilege of getting to know her and work with her for seven years. The sadness and injustice of her loss is felt by anyone who knows her, but no one can imagine the hurt that Jonathan, the kids and her parents are feeling. My heart aches as I’m just writing these words.”

Anne Heche's first book now has a release date, and fans of the late actress can find it on bookshelves on Jan. 24, 2023.The 140-page memoir is dubbed, and the book's publisher and distributor, Viva Editions and Simon & Schuster, promises the book is as personal as it gets while «offering a peek inside the mind of the late Emmy-award winning actress.» The memoir will consist of «personal anecdotes of her rise to fame: how Harrison Ford became her on-set mentor, her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, her encounter with Harvey Weinstein, her history of childhood sexual abuse, her relationship with God, her journey to love herself, and more.»The memoir is also being described as «part self-acceptance workbook» consisting of «personal stories [that] are interwoven with poems, prompts, and exercises that got Anne through tough times.»In an except obtained by The Associated Press, Heche recalls the label she was anointed with amid her relationship with DeGeneres.«I was labeled 'outrageous' because I fell in love with a woman.

Anne Heche's second memoir, "Call Me Anne," will be dedicated to her two sons, Homer Laffoon and Atlas Tupper, and is set for a Jan. 24 release date.The Emmy Award-winning actress died last month at the age of 53.

The AP, Heche worked on the memoir over the past year, detailing honest reflections on her late 1990s relationship with comedian Ellen DeGeneres. “Call Me Anne” is also a sequel to the actress’s 2001 work, “Call Me Crazy.”The forthcoming book, scheduled for publication by Start Publishing, will arrive less than a year after Heche’s death on Aug. 14 after she was involved in a Los Angeles car crash at the age of 53.“I was labeled ‘outrageous’ because I fell in love with a woman,” Heche wrote.

The Princess Royal is visiting Scotland today, accompanied by her husband Sir Tim Laurence. She is touring the Glasgow City Chambers, one of the city's most celebrated works of architecture, and meet with representatives of organisations of which the late Queen was a patron. Princess Anne has become the first woman to ever take part in the Vigil of the Princes ceremony, which has until now always been carried out by the male members of the Royal Family.

The Countess of Wessex was pictured comforting Princess Anne as she watched Queen Elizabeth II's coffin being carried into the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh on Sunday. Sophie Wessex, 57, the wife of Prince Edward, 58, could be seen placing her hand on the Princess Royal's back in a supportive gesture as the coffin arrived after a six-hour drive from Balmoral. The Queen's children and their spouses watched on in solemn silence as soldiers from the Royal Regiment of Scotland carried the coffin to the Palace's Throne Room, where it will remain overnight.
