While it hasn’t been officially confirmed that Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez will be singing and dancing at some point, I recently got a tease from musical impresarios Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. “We’ve worked on the next season of ‘Only Murders in the Building,’” Shaiman said. “We’re not allowed to say anything more than that, but you could probably do that math.” The third season also includes appearances by Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd and Jesse Williams.

Jonas Brothers have been trending on TikTok recently with their new album “The Album” and single “Waffle House.” RnB superstar Miguel has been buzzing on TikTok with the revival of his 2011 hit “Sure Thing” and to celebrate the hub, the musician has created a TikTok trailing his new track “Give It To Me.” Horan, who soared to fame as part of boy band One Direction, has posted a video of his new track “Meltdown.”

Hayley Kiyoko has claimed that an “undercover cop” arrived at her Nashville tour stop to warn her about legal consequences that could arise if she were to have drag queens join her onstage. Kiyoko, 32, who identifies as lesbian, performed Monday at Marathon Music Works in Music City as part of “The Panorama Tour.”In an Instagram post on Tuesday, the “Girls Like Girls” singerclaimed she invited local drag queens LiberTea and Ivy St James to perform with her — but “local law enforcement” advised the performer not to, due to Tennessee’s proposed legislation that would ban drag performers in the presence of minors.

Thania Garcia Anitta anticipates her next album will encourage its listeners to get “very cultured” about her native Brazil. The Latin music star teased the project on the Met Gala carpet saying the collection will be a bilingual mix of English and Spanish that pays homage to the early beginnings of Brazillian music. The follow-up to her 2022 smash, “Versions of Me,” will arrive via Republic Records as her debut on the label. Variety broke the news of Anitta’s deal with Republic less than a month after she announced her split from longtime label Warner Music. “I think Brazillian funk is opening its room right now and I want to show more about where this was born and it’s my culture, my community, my place so I feel happy to have this in hands with Republic,” she said. Anitta also mentioned the record will include a “couple” of special guests that she says fans will definitely be happy with.

Variety broke the news of the deal last week. (Photo IDs below.) About the signing, Anitta shared, “After being in this business for many years, I wanted to find partners that work like a family. After meeting with Monte, Wendy, their team at Republic, and Jesus Lopez I was blown away. Their passion, innovation, creativity and vision is incredible.  I not only felt so connected to them as an artist, but also on a human level. I knew immediately, I was home.”

FIFTY FIFTY have signed a new partnership with American label Warner Records.The new partnership comes shortly after FIFTY FIFTY went viral on TikTok with their sophomore single ‘Cupid’. K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN’s new mini-album ‘FML’ has become the highest-selling K-pop album in its first week to date.Yesterday (April 24), SEVENTEEN returned with their tenth mini-album ‘FML’, led by title tracks ‘F*ck My Life’ and ‘Super’. In less than 24 hours since its release, the record has set a new record for highest first-week sales for a K-pop album.According to South Korea’s Hanteo Chart, per The Korea Times on Tuesday morning KST, ‘FML’ sold over 3.9million copies after it dropped the evening prior, making it the highest-ever number of albums sold by a K-pop act in the first week of release.The record was previously held by BTS with their 2020 album ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, which had achieved over 3.3million sales in its first week.

K-pop boyband THE BOYZ have shared that their second world tour will take place later this year.On April 25, IST Entertainment unveiled a brand-new poster announcing THE BOYZ’s upcoming second world tour ‘Zeneration’. Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic If the 14th annual TCM Classic Film Festival had an official focus, it was on the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros., from the opening night premiere selection of a restoration of “Rio Bravo” to a celebration of the 50th anniversary of “The Exorcist.” Almost equal in emphasis, though, by virtue of the guests brought in, was a celebration of the ingenues-turned-leading-ladies of the 1960s, who now represent the elder guard of a Hollywood golden age — Angie Dickinson, Ann-Margret and Shirley Jones. Dickinson had the highest profile of any star at the festival, being the belle of the ball at the Thursday screening of “Rio Bravo” in the big house at the TCL Chinese Theatres, where most of the screenings were held. But there was just as much outpouring of affection for Ann-Margret, who turned up for a Q&A (and birthday cake) following “Bye Bye Birdie” on Saturday, and Jones, who was joined by her son Shaun Cassidy and a slew of grandchildren after a showing of 1962’s “The Music Man” as the festival neared its end Sunday.
