WATCH: Angelina Jolie on how she survived split from Brad PittThe business reportedly filed the lawsuit against Brad on Thursday, claiming he "masterminded a so-far-successful plan to seize control of" the French winery he and Angelina used to co-own.Documents also suggested the actor tried to leverage the vineyard and home to prevent Angelina from speaking publicly about the details of their divorce.In the lawsuit, the company accuses Brad of "waging a vindictive war" against Jolie and treating “Château Miraval … as his personal fiefdom".The court documents continued, claiming Brad had "wasted [Château Miraval]’s assets, spending millions on vanity projects, including more than [$US]1 million [approx. $1.5 million] on swimming pool renovations and other funds restoring a recording studio."The legal battle between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appears to be heating up again.The suit went on to accuse Brad of demanding a “hush clause” that would prevent Angeline from speaking about the circumstances of their divorce during negotiations for her to buy her half of the winery.It also accused Brad of “gaslighting” and attempting to play the “victim” in the legal battle, following his own lawsuit in June.“To be clear, it is Pitt, and not Jolie, Nouvel or any of the other Defendants, who has acted in a hostile, destructive, and illegal manner.
