Amy Walsh and Toby-Alexander Smith couldn’t look more smitten as they recently showed off their baby girl Bonnie Mae. Amy, 34, who plays Tracy Metcalfe in Emmerdale, met Toby, 30, who plays EastEnders villain Gray Atkins, on the set of Strictly Come Dancing two years ago. Fast-forward a few years and the happy couple are parents to a beautiful baby girl.Toby tells OK! that having a baby has now cemented their relationship, and the pair also opened up on their chosen baby name, which has a special nod to their romance.

What does the baby name Bonnie mean? The adorable baby name Bonnie is a girl's name of Scottish and French origin meaning "beautiful" and "cheerful".The moniker Bonnie had a big push when Scarlett and Rhett used it for their daughter in Gone With The Wind. Describing why they chose the name, Toby told OK!: "We’d go on walks around the lake where Amy used to live in Leeds during lockdown and talk about names. "Bonnie was one that came up really early, even before Amy was pregnant." Amy added: "Whenever we hypothetically talked about our family, we always said 'our little Bonnie.' When she came, she couldn’t have been more of a Bonnie." Funnily enough, Toby once had a dog named Bonnie, but said there was no connection.
