You only have to scroll through Instagram for a matter of minutes to see that choppy, mid length cuts are all the rage at the moment. From celebrities to influencers, blunt long bobs and modern takes on Rachel Green’s signature haircut from the nineties are everywhere this season. The latest to get a fresh medium length hair makeover is former TOWIE star Amy Childs, who paid a visit to her hairdresser Joel Maguire – who also looks after Demi and Chloe Sims’ hair – for some volume-boosting extensions.
“@joel_maghair21 wanting me to go longer today… na hun I’m staying short,” the 31 year old captioned an Instagram Stories clip, as Joel cut down her extensions into a burgundy long bob that grazes her shoulders. However, despite enjoying shorter styles nowadays it doesn’t look like Amy will be going any shorter with her hair length any time soon.
“This is the shortest I’m going… thank you @joel_maghair21,” she captioned a clip of her final look alongside a string of emojis. Of course, Amy isn’t the only famous face who is currently loving a mid-length style at the moment.
Strictly Come Dancing Professional dancer Dianne Buswell is another red-haired celeb who unveiled a return to a blunt mid-length cut earlier this month, something her fans were delighted by.Taking part in a popular TikTok transformation trend, the 33 year old shared a video in which she yanks the ends of her lengthy hair before transitioning into the long bob. It is quite the drastic change, as Dianne’s long straight hair goes from falling all the way to her waist to having blunt ends that only just skim her shoulders – but this new look is a great one on her.
We aren’t the only ones to think so, of course. Racking up thousands of likes on the video-sharing
