Amy Childs has opened up on her harrowing birth experience, breaking down in tears as she revealed one of her twins "nearly died".The Only Way Is Essex star, 32, is pulling back the curtain on life with new babies in her new ITVBe series The Twin Life. In the opening episode of the show, a tearful Amy offered insight into the "tragic" experience and said she was rushed to theatre while in labour with the twins. The popular reality star documented her pregnancy with OK! and shared her exciting –and unexpected – baby news with OK! back in October.
In April, Amy welcomed her daughter, Amelia Mae, and her son, Billy River, with fiancé Billy Delbosq - but the labour was quite the ordeal. In footage from the upcoming reality show, a tearful Amy is overcome with emotion while recalling the experience. She said: "It was awful, it was just tragic.

Amy continued: "And now the midwife is running to theatre with me, with her hand still inside me so the cord don't come out, ‘cause the minute that comes out, the baby would've died." The new ITVBe show will begin on May 23 and offer viewers an intimate, behind-the-scenes glimpse into life with four children aged under five-years-old. Billy was hospitalised due to fluid on his lungs shortly after his birth, with the traumatic events set to be shown in the series. Amy ended up having an emergency C-Section, despite hopes for a natural birth.
She told The Sun: "I had an emergency C-Section – I had planned to go all natural. Bill films diary cams on the show so you'll get to see it all on Twin Life." Amy unveiled her original birth plans in her column for OK!. At the time, she penned: "My C-section is all booked
