This American Idol contestant is not too happy with Katy Perry after her audition! And it’s not because of accusations of being “pitchy”!
For those who haven’t seen the recent episode in which she appeared, Sara Beth Liebe surprised the 38-year-old pop star and her fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan not just because of her vocal talent — but because she told them she was a 25-year-old mother of three!

The revelation was so shocking to Katy that she stood up and leaned against the table while Luke fanned her. In response to this, Sara joked:

While Sara didn’t say anything about the comment during the audition, it apparently didn’t sit well with her over time. She took to TikTok a bit after the episode aired, weeks after it happened, to blast Katy, saying the joke “wasn’t super kind” and that “mom shaming is super lame.” She expressed in the video:

Katy hasn’t reacted to being called out at this time. As for Sara? She made it through to Hollywood week, but it is still unknown if she made it through to the live shows at this time. If Sara does end up on the lives, well, things are going to be a bit awkward between her and Katy now.
