Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson patrol the city of New Orleans in the first trailer for AMC’s Interview With a Vampire series.
The upcoming series will focus on Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anderson) as he tells his story of being turned by Lestat (Reid).
The series also stars Bailey Bass, Eric Bogosian and Assad Zaman.
Interview With A Vampire is set to premiere on October 2 at 19 p.m. on AMC, just after the debut of The Walking Dead‘s final batch of episodes.
The first two episodes of Interview With the Vampire will also be available on AMC+ that night.

The talented actress, who recently starred alongside Mark Wahlberg in ‘Father Stu,’ has embarked on a new project. Created and produced by Mohammed “Mo” Amer and Ramy Youssef, joining forces with A24.The upcoming comedy series is set to be released on the streaming platform August 24, and is based on Amer’s experiences as a Palestinian refugee growing up in Texas.Teresa will play the role of Mo’s girlfriend Maria, and actress Farah Bsieso will play Mo’s mother, Yusra Najjar.

Rapper Mystikal, whose full name is Michael Tyler, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on Sunday after an alleged assault the night before, according to a release from the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana. The 51-year-old musician was also charged with domestic abuse battery, strangulation, false imprisonment, simple robbery and simple criminal damage to property. Authorities responded to a local hospital in reference to a sexual assault reported on Saturday, July 30, at 11:58 p.m. and interviewed a victim who "sustained minor injuries during the attack." Rapper Mystikal was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on Sunday.
