Amazon Studios is taking to the streets to promote Ben Affleck’s “Air,” which chronicles the beginnings of the iconic Air Jordan sneaker brand. The studio has teamed up with iconic sneaker culture icon Jason Markk to host a multi-city consumer experience, dubbed “Fresh Air,” which ties into the film’s social campaign, “A shoe is just a shoe until I step into it.” The activation will see guerilla street teams flood U.S. cities including Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Chicago, in a unique opportunity to bring together sneakerheads and celebrate the culture and history of the sneaker community. Ciarán Hinds, Rory Kinnear and Tanya Moodie have joined the cast of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” ahead of the series’ second season, Prime Video announced Monday morning. Hinds, Kinnear and Moodie will feature in recurring roles through the upcoming season, which is currently in production in the United Kingdom. Hinds is an Irish actor, while Kinnear and Moodie are both British. Details regarding their characters remain under wraps. Hinds, Kinnear and Moodie join an already expansive cast on the series, adapted from the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. “The Rings of Power” featured 23 series regulars during its first season, playing elves, ents, dwarves, harfoots, orcs and humans.

Rolling Loud cancels New York festival for 2023: “This isn’t goodbye”

Rolling Loud has announced that it has cancelled its New York event for 2023.The festival has its origins in Miami, Florida, and hosted a first New York City edition in 2019.
