As the cost of living crisis continues to bite more retailers are holding sale events throughout the year to offer consumers help with their next buy, with Amazon being a major contender.
With so many sale events taking place online though it can be hard to know where to look, and to also work out whether these special promotional days are actually saving you money in the first place. Amazon held not one, not two, but four sale days last year which included two Prime Days as well as Black Friday and Christmas.
While many shoppers will appreciate a discount, others might not see that discount as cheaper in the first place. So are Amazon doing the right thing here and what's so special about their Prime Days?

We've compiled a list of everything we know so far about Amazon's next Prime Day event based from last year's trends, as well as listing some useful tips to ensure you are getting the best deal for your money.
Amazon are yet to officially announce a date yet for their next Prime Day sale but if last year is anything to go by, this could take place twice again this year.
In 2022 Amazon held their first Prime Day on July 12 for 24 hours, and they later held another on October 11 and 12 in the run up to their mammoth Black Friday event.
While July is still a few months away, it's good to have the date earmarked and to keep an eye on prices, especially if you're waiting for a product to reduce - it may be worth waiting just a couple more months to possibly get an even bigger discount during the sale day.

Selome Hailu Amazon Prime Video has set its first South African original, “LOL: Last One Laughing,” an unscripted comedy series hosted by Trevor Noah. The series, which will launch in early 2024, sees Noah pit 10 famous South African comedians and entertainers against one another to see who can keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents laugh.
