Amanda Holden might well be one of the last people you’d expect to see let out a huge burp and post it on the internet, but the mum-of-two left her inhibitions behind in the name of TikTok this week. Amanda, 41, took part in the viral Sprite Challenge where people are tasked with downing an entire bottle of the popular beverage without burping.The Britain's Got Talent judge, who was recently spotted out and about in an eye-catching botanical suit, was challenged to do it by radio station Heart Radio, where she hosts the morning show every weekday alongside Jamie Theakston. Sharing the video to Heart’s Twitter page, it was captioned: “We asked @AmandaHolden to attempt the #SpriteChallenge and we regret it”.

Narrating what she’s doing, Amanda says: “My first attempt at trying to drink a whole can of Sprite without burping.” After a few sips, she looks at the camera and says: “It’s going well,” before proceeding to drink more from the can. However, it seems Amanda spoke too soon and eventually let out a Shrek-like burp before spitting a bit of the drink out, leaving the person behind the camera in fits of laughter. And fans were equally as amused by the video, taking to the comments almost instantly.
