Almost all secondary schools in Wigan will have catch-up classes this summer.
A total of 19 secondary schools in the borough will be running educational programmes this summer alongside non-academic activities for all ages.
The summer schools are expected to offer a blend of academic education and 'enrichment' activities and focus primarily on pupils moving from Year 6 to 7.
