The Atomic Kitten star can currently be seen taking part in the tough Channel 4 reality series alongside celebrities including Alexandra Burke, Ulrika Jonsson and Jake Quickenden, facing challenges such as walking a tightrope between cliffs and rescuing a hostage from a gas chamber.

Alexandra Burke has revealed despite being put through her paces on the incredibly tough course on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which started last week, she found the mental strength to cope because it was nothing compared to what her mum had been through in life, or what it was like to lose her. In a new interview, the X Factor winner admitted that she rates her own mental strength “quite high”.

Alexandra Burke has taken to Instagram to thank fans for their support following her debut on SAS Who Dares Wins. The former X Factor star, 33, is appearing in the current series of the hit Channel 4 show alongside the likes of writer and TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson, TV personalities Kerry Katona, Vicky Pattison and Jake Quickenden, and athlete James Cracknell.

Ulrika Jonsson was treated for hypothermia on Sunday's first gruelling episode of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The presenter, 54, is taking part in the latest series of the show alongside Kerry Katona, Vicky Pattison and Wes Nelson, which is set in the remote island of Raasay in the Scottish Hebrides.
