Alec Baldwin is trying to set the record straight again.
The actor has done a lot of damage control since firing the gun the killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film Rust. Recently, investigators issued a search warrant for Alec’s phone in connection to the case; but the 63-year-old came under fire when it was reported he has not yet turned over the phone to authorities.

Over the weekend Alec confirmed the reports — but according to the 30 Rock alum, the fact he hasn’t handed over the phone isn’t as bad as it looks. On Saturday, he posted a video to Instagram sharing a story about a minor “2022 miracle,” before giving followers an update on the case. He stated:

He added that he is “1000% going to comply with all that” and that his team is “perfectly fine” with doing so. He went on to urge fans to “consider the source” of their info, opining that many outlets have been peddling “lies and bulls**t and nonsense” about the investigation.

He claimed to have “no worries” about the process, reassuring viewers that “it’s all gonna work itself out.” He reiterated:

The police investigation into Alec Baldwin’s fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust last fall is ongoing, but the family of the cinematographer is moving closer to a big move of its own.
In paperwork filed Monday night in a Los Angeles Superior Court, attorneys for Alec Baldwin sought to have the lawsuit filed against him and other producers on the film, by “Rust” script supervisor Mamie Mitchell, dismissed.The attorneys, at the law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP which represent “Rust” producers in this case, argue that because the “Rust” shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on Oct. 21 happened in New Mexico, the matter falls under that state’s laws.
Alec Baldwin and his fellow "Rust" producers have filed to dismiss one of the lawsuits taking aim at them. In a motion obtained by Fox News Digital, Baldwin and other producers have requested that the court toss the complaint "without leave to amend." The suit was originally filed in November by script supervisor Mamie Mitchell – who is being represented by famed attorney Gloria Allred following the events that led to the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injury of director Joel Souza.
