An Aldi shopper has been left 'gobsmacked' at the quality of a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick 'dupe' that costs much less than the premium brand's £26 designer price tag.
The budget supermarket chain's in-house fashion brand Lacura has become iconic for its vast range of premium quality cosmetics that regularly have beauty fans flocking to stores to get their hands on them.
And now the supermarket giant has expanded the popular range once more with a new Perfectly Nude lipstick, lip liner and lip gloss, all for just £2.99 each - with the lipstick gaining the most attention.
Shoppers have flocked to TikTok to rave about the lipstick in particular, with many praising it and claiming that it is similar to the designer brand's popular Pillow Talk range that costs £26.
With the cost of living crisis ongoing, Courtney Pochin from The Mirror decided to try out the lipstick for herself to see if it really was worth all the hype - and if she would be willing to make the switch from higher end brands.
Testing the lipstick out for a total of 10 hours, here is how she got on.
First impressions
For £2.99, the packaging is great, the pink box it comes in is cute and the triangular lipstick tube itself is modern and playful - it doesn't look overly cheap, which is a nice bonus.
When you open it up, the Perfectly Nude lipstick has a very artificial chocolatey scent, which you'll either love or hate. For me, it was a bit much, but once applied I couldn't really notice it anymore and it thankfully it only has a very minimal taste if you lick your lips.
