Alan Carr wants to find a better work/life balance and is looking for a "nice Scottish man".
The comedian has been getting open and honest about what he wants from life and the recent personal challenges he's faced on his new Regional Trinket tour.
Although it provided good material for his gigs, the Channel 4 Chatty Man star's split from husband Paul during the coronavirus pandemic meant that everything about his life had changed when he "came out the other end".
And now he's making plans for a more balanced lifestyle and thinks Scotland could hold the key to his heart for any future love interests.
Speaking in an exclusive interview from Inverness with STV's Laura Boyd in this Friday's instalment of What's On Scotland, the comic says: “Life’s given me one of those years. Professionally, it has been amazing but personally, it’s been a bit rubbish. “I’m a grafter, I love working, I love coming up here [to Scotland] . I know there are some comedians who don’t want to go above Watford, but not to come to Scotland is a no-brainer.

“But I’ve got to sort out that work/life balance. Next year, you’ll probably see a bit less of Alan. I’m going to sort myself out. "I think I’m ready for it and, who knows, I might find love. I might find a nice Scottish man. There was a man wading in the rivers [in Inverness] and I like a man in waders…”
News that Alan had split from his husband Paul Drayton after three years of marriage was made public in January. The couple were together for 13 years and made the decision "jointly and amicably".
