The Masked Singer UK, returned for another round of head-scratching musical covers tonight (January 30). Lit up by guest judge Alan Carr, this week's instalment featured a dramatic double elimination, meaning seven celebrity singers were whittled down to just five.

The hit singing competition, which was filmed before current lockdown restrictions were introduced, is presented by Joel Dommett and features panellists Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, who all sit separated by perspex glass. Seven mystery singers took to the stage before two of them were eliminated and unmasked this evening.

John Thomson became the latest contestant to be eliminated from the show and revealed as the Bush Baby.  And The Masked Singer UK is set to wave goodbye to another TWO celebrities when it returns to screens on Saturday night with an exciting change to routine.

Alan Carr has made a weight loss pact with Judge Robert Rinder. The 44-year-old comedian put on three stone during the first two coronavirus lockdowns, but the TV presenter knew he had to change his diet when he couldn't get a pair of jeans over his stomach.

Adele.It's been over five years since Adele dropped "25," but the wait will be over soon, according to one of her friends.  In a chat with Grazia UK, comic Alan Carr said he's heard some of the unreleased music, and "it's amazing."Adele's name was brought up when the "RuPaul's Drag Race" host was asked who of the following women would drop music in February: Adele, Cardi B or Rihanna."Adele, isn't it? I've actually heard some tracks on it," he said.
