Al Harrington was an actor best known for playing Detective Ben Kokua on “Hawaii Five-O.”Born Tausau Ta’a in American Samoa, Harrington was raised in Hawaii and later became well known as an entertainer in Waikiki. His dance review, featuring his Polynesian dancing, was popular at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki for years.

Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported. Harrington also appeared in the CBS reboot of “Hawaii Five-0,” playing the recurring role of surf shop owner and bus driver Mamo Kahike from 2011 to 2018.
