Adele has dismissed rumours that she cancelled her planned residency in Las Vegas because of problems in her relationship with partner Rich Paul. The 33-year-old singer was due to perform in Vegas from January to April this year, but cancelled the shows at the 11th hour - prompting much criticism and speculation as to why the shows had been called off so late. However, in an Instagram post, Adele suggested that rumours that her relationship with Rich Paul was in trouble were wide of the mark.

Adele and her boyfriend Rich Paul had hit a "rough patch" just prior to her abruptly pulling the plug on her Las Vegas residency show, according to a source close to the singer.Page Six reported that the singer retreated to Rich's Los Angeles home after hightailing it out of Vegas over a week ago, and she's yet to leave. Behind closed doors, Rich, a sports super agent, is reportedly helping her renegotiate her contract with Caesars Palace, where her show was set to begin on Jan.

Adele is preparing to take to the stage once again. The 33-year-old songstress made headlines last month when she was forced to postpone her Las Vegas residency just a day before it was set to begin. In the weeks since, fans have wondered when they'll next get to see the "Easy On Me" singer perform.

On Tuesday, the singer shared the news that she would be performing at the BRIT Awards on Feb. 8.“Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!!! Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too,” the «Easy on Me» songstress wrote next to a photo of her smiling while playing cards. “I’m looking forward to it."  The 33-year-old GRAMMY winner ended her post with a little message from her boyfriend, Rich Paul, seemingly putting any rumors about trouble in paradise to rest.
