It’s just something you learn as you do it – and the most important thing is that you have fun. ’Rae’s fun-loving, down-to-earth lip-sync and dancing videos are exactly what have made her one of the most recognisable and influential stars of her generation – and her advice to those looking to follow in her footsteps is simple: ‘The most important thing is to find what makes you feel most like you on social media, and letting that project your creativity through your platform,’ she says. ‘No matter who you are or what you do, there’s going to be negativity. Social media can be toxic, and dealing with it is definitely an uphill battle,’ says Rae. ‘The comments can be so cruel, and it really throws me off that people even feel the need to say the things they do.
