He insists he is tussling with the best of the Premiership on a weekly basis which is aiding his progression under Beale. Ahead of the Hampden showdown, Devinetold Rangers TV: "It's been excellent, I couldn't praise him (Beale) enough and his staff. The team has had a little bit of a boost but we are looking in the right direction. I need to keep pushing every day in training and hopefully I will get my chance again.
"I'm training with the best players in the country so that is only going to benefit me, both on and off the pitch. It is helping me a lot.
"I need to keep working hard. He (Tavernier) is massive as he helps me on and off the pitch. He's a great role model and on the pitch he's one I really look up to.
"I need to try keep pushing him as he is pushing me. Every day in training, I hope I can show what I can do, and if I do get my chance I need to put on a performance that keeps me in the team."
